Roody Souverain - RE Line Report
Privacy Policy
The short version: I collect what you type into a form so I can answer you, I store it in my own database, and I do not sell it. The long version is below.
Last updated August 19, 2026
1. What I collect
There are only five ways information about you reaches me through this site.
- You fill in a form. That gives me your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, the ZIP code you are asking about, your timeframe, and whatever you write in the message box. The form also records which page you sent it from and, on a ZIP page, the market state shown at the time, so I know what you were looking at when you wrote.
- I prepare a market report for you. If we have spoken, I may enter what you told me so I can build you a written report: your name, phone and email, where you live, the areas you are considering, your budget or your estimate of what your home is worth, your timeline, and, for a rental owner, who manages your property today and what you would want done differently. That record is stored in my database and is what the report is built from. See section 6 for how the report itself is protected.
- You create an account. That records your email address, a hashed one time sign-in code, the time you signed in, and, if you give them, your name and phone number. Anyone can create an account. It is separate from the private portal below.
- You subscribe to a paid plan. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site and is never stored here. What I hold is a Stripe customer reference, which plan you are on, its status, and a count of the reports you have generated so billing and limits work. Stripe holds the payment details and sends your receipts.
- You build a report. The property details you enter are stored with the report so it can be rebuilt from live data each time it is opened. On the agent and brokerage plans that also includes the name, brokerage, license number and logo you want printed on your reports. An uploaded logo is stored publicly and can be fetched by anyone with its address, because it has to load for a client who has no account.
- You sign in to the private portal. That records your email address, a hashed one time code, and the time you signed in. The portal is limited to addresses I have approved in advance and is not open to the public.
I do not run advertising trackers, I do not build behavioural profiles, and there is no third party analytics or advertising pixel embedded in these pages. My hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
2. Why I collect it
To answer you, to prepare the specific numbers you asked for, and to keep in touch about the market if you asked me to. That is the whole list. Under privacy law the lawful bases are your consent, and my legitimate interest in responding to someone who contacted a real estate professional asking for help.
I also have a record keeping obligation. Florida real estate licensees are required to retain records of transactions and communications, so some information cannot simply be erased on request once it relates to a transaction.
3. Where it is stored and who processes it
The site runs on Vercel, which hosts the pages and keeps server logs. Form submissions, accounts, reports and portal records are stored in a Supabase Postgres database that I control. Email is sent and contact records are kept in Brevo, which is where confirmations and any market updates you asked for are sent from. Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe, which stores your card details under its own privacy policy and sends your receipts. All four are service providers acting on my instructions. Brevo is based in the European Union, so information you send may be processed there as well as in the United States.
I never see or store a full card number. Stripe handles the payment page, the card details and the receipts; what comes back to me is a customer reference and whether the subscription is active.
4. Who it is not shared with
I do not sell your information, I do not rent it, and I do not trade leads. Nothing you send is passed to a lead aggregator or a portal. If a step in helping you requires bringing in someone else, such as a lender, a title company, an inspector, or a builder's sales office, I will ask you first and you can say no. The only exception is a lawful demand, a court order, or something required to enforce my terms or protect someone's safety.
5. Email and text messages
If you fill in a form you get a confirmation email, because you asked me a question and that is the reply. Ongoing market updates are separate and only go to people who opted in, and every one of them has a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop me from replying to a message you sent me. If you gave me a phone number I may call or text you about your enquiry; reply STOP to any text and it stops.
If you have a paid plan, once a month I send you a summary of the reports you have built, with the links you already have. It goes to you, never to the people you sent reports to, and stopping it is one click from the email itself. It changes nothing about your plan and nothing about the reports, which keep working either way.
6. The link to your report
A market report I prepare for you lives at its own web address containing a long random code. It is not listed anywhere, it is excluded from search engines, and it is not linked from any page on this site. Anyone who has the link can open it, which is deliberate: it means you can forward it to a spouse, a partner or an accountant without them needing an account. It also means you should treat the link the way you would treat the report itself.
The page records that it was opened and how many times, so I know whether it reached you. It does not record who opened it. If you want a report deleted, say so and it goes, together with the link.
7. Cookies
There is still no advertising or tracking cookie on this site and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. I do not run an advertising pixel and I do not build behavioural profiles.
There are two strictly necessary cookies, both signed and HTTP-only, and each is only set once you sign in to the thing it belongs to. One keeps you signed in to your account for thirty days. The other does the same for the private portal, which is a separate system with a separate sign-in. Both are removed when you sign out. If you never sign in, this site sets no cookie at all.
Going through checkout sends you to Stripe, which sets its own cookies on its own pages under its own privacy policy. That is Stripe's domain, not this one.
8. How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept while they are still useful and reviewed periodically. Records connected to a transaction are kept for at least five years, which is what Florida brokerage record keeping requires. Portal sign in codes expire in ten minutes and are single use.
9. Your choices
Write to rsouverain@barthelemyholdings.com and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it where I am not required to keep it. I will respond within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason and asking costs you nothing.
Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of other states and countries may have rights under their own law. I apply the same process to everyone who asks, wherever you live.
10. Security, and what to do if something goes wrong
The database enforces row level security and the portal tables are reachable only through a verified session. Sign in codes are stored as hashes, never in the clear. No system is perfect. If I discover a breach affecting your information I will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
11. Children
Roody Souverain - RE Line Report is meant for adults making housing decisions. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent me something, tell me and I will delete it.
12. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and anyone on my email list hears about it. Older versions are available on request.
